My presentation will look at the 'new now' in e-commerce packaging. I will explain the most effective way to speed up the time to market and boost profits while staying green.

Why did you choose to tackle this topic?

E-commerce is moving fast while the packaging design process is not. Technology and web-based applications can be very helpful in reducing this gap. There are many companies with great products but no experience in packaging design and supply chain management. The risk for them is to lose the opportunity to sell more.

What do you consider to be the biggest challenges & opportunities that the e-commerce packaging sector is facing at the moment?

For e-commerce companies, besides attracting the perfect customers and converting more shoppers, the main challenge in my opinion is the whole customer experience. It includes product protection, the choice of sustainable materials, waste reduction and the emotional side of the unboxing experience, leading to a happy customer.

What are you most looking forward to hearing about and discussing with your peers at E-PACK Europe 2022?

I would like to hear about innovation focusing on global sustainability in terms of environmental and social impact.
