I am a technical chief engineer of Shanghai Jielong Paierpu Packaging Technology Co., Ltd., deeply engaged in the pulp tray industry for 20 years+. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the mechanical design and manufacturing (mechanical structure, mold, transmission, sheet metal, pneumatic, hydraulic, cooling, lubrication, non-standard parts, metal, plastic and paper fiber characteristics, standard parts selection, etc.), pulp tray product design, heating system design (boiler or electric heating), electrical process principles, technical management, project management. During my work period, i successfully designed three pulp automatic molding machines and three pulp food packaging production lines, and obtained three invention patents, two utility model patents, three pulp automatic molding machine appearance patents and seven software copyrights.
Neo Yang, P&G China Go To Market Package Innovation Director. He has been working in P&G for 16 years. He is the innovator of P&G China eCommerce SIOC package (little green box) and P&G reusable package (big green box). He is leading the P&G customization package, eCommerce package and reusable package innovation for all P&G brands in China.
Brought up in a family of printing and paper production and 15 years at H&M HQ marketing department working with innovation, building our supplier network, the startup of our sustainability work and wow with Point of sale material it was a complete match when I started to work with H&M group customer packaging 9 years ago. Travelling and witnessing inefficiencies and opaque supply chains cemented his vision for Grain Discovery. Rory studied Agricultural Science at the University of Melbourne.

As a result they have revolutionised the market with their innovative, sustainable packaging solutions founded on Circular Economy principles and the premise that ‘waste is a design flaw’.
Benicio is a Principal Engineer in Packaging Engineering at Dell Technologies, with over 19 years of Packaging related experiences in the IT industry. He specializes in developing packaging solutions that optimize cost, performance, and sustainability. His experience shows that when sustainable packaging is designed correctly, with the right supply chain, then costs can be at parity or less. As a lead engineer on Dell’s development teams, Benicio was at the forefront of introducing eco-friendly, game changing materials such as Molded Paper Pulp, Ocean Bound Plastic, and Pollution Ink. These packaging solutions offer lower cost and better performance that delights customers and makes a healthier planet.
Benicio holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Chun Yuan Christian University located in Taiwan. His prior experience includes leadership roles at Compal, IBM and Inventec. In his free time, Benicio enjoys traveling, weightlifting, and most of all, playing board games with his three lovely daughters.
Sophia is leading the BOBST Marketing & Communication activities across the APJ region. Located in Shanghai she supports printers and converters as well as brand owners to create a more agile and more sustainable packaging production across the entire supply chain. She strongly believes that digitalization, automation and connectivity are the main drivers to shape the future of packaging production. Before joining BOBST, Sophia was the regional Marketing Manager in Large Format and Industry Printing at HP. She worked as well for cloud computing industry in Australia and owns a Master’s degree in Management of Business Administration
Nerida has worked in the Packaging industry for close to 25 years and holds the Vice President Sustainability & Save Food role at the World Packaging Organisation. She is also the Executive Director position at the Australian Institute of Packaging which is the peak professional body for packaging training & education in Australasia.
Nerida is passionate about educating the industry on the important role that packaging plays in minimising Food Waste and how designing Save Food Packaging can make a difference. She is also one of the creators of the annual Xmas Foodbank hamper program which is designed to help those who are vulnerable and in need. The volunteer program has packed over 14,0000 hampers to the value of over $1 Million AUD over the last 11 years. She , is the lead for the Save Food Packaging Consortium project within the Fight Food Waste Cooperative Research Centre and was the packaging representative on DAWE’s National Food Waste Strategy Steering Committee.
Nerida is also committed to helping educate and train packaging professionals in the importance of sustainable and circular packaging design and recognising best practice in this area. She is also the WPO lead for the Global Packaging Design for Recycling Guide which is currently being translated in multiple languages across the globe. The second stage of the global project is the development of a large series of country waste stream mapping guides which are in progress.
Phil Stafford, Director, Global Channels, has over 25 years of packaging, agency and manufacturing experience, including global branding, smart packaging, print technologies and mobile payments.
Prior to his current role, he worked as a manager of Brand and Market Insights WestRock Packaging Solutions and as Director of Global Accounts Brand & Retail Package Solutions at MeadWestvaco (now WestRock).
Cindy Qian Regional Flexible Packaging Segment Leader, joined HP in 2016. She has more than 10 years various experiences in flexible packaging converter and packaging graphics industries before, with solid knowledge in flexible packaging ecosystem & applications, analogue printing such as flexo and gravure, as well as different converting technologies.
Cindy has been developing digital printing for flexible packaging market in the region for nearly 5 years, mainly supporting customers with best business practices analysis, printing quality and application improvement, end to end solutions and workflows, ROI evaluation, etc.
Duan Yanjian holds a master’s degree in packaging engineering, graduated from Jiangnan University. Now he’s responsible for logistics and packaging technique in JD Logistics. In 2017, he has launched “Green Stream Initiative” with several brands which aims to promote green and sustainable development of the end-to-end supply chain (B2B2C) along with upstream and downstream enterprises.
Besides, he has founded green corrugated packaging alliance and e-commerce packaging standard alliance in order to promote e-commerce packaging standard and industrial certification, also remodel supply chain packaging of e-commerce.
He has been involved in the drafting and revising of dozens of national/industry packaging standards.
