Ciaran has been working for Smithers for nearly twenty years supporting the packaging, print and paper value chains with key market and technical information in the form of conferences, reports and consulting. Ciaran has worked on winning and delivering a wide range of market consultancy projects to major industry players, recent projects include a global assessment of printing and packaging growth trends and market assessment for a major new product launch for one of the world’s largest packaging converters.
Ciaran has launched and managed many international conferences in this sector including Digital Print for Packaging, SustPack, Specialty Papers and Print Futures.
Si Chen, Amcor’s business development director in China, is mainly responsible for e-commerce packaging, smart packaging, as well as the total solution with packaging equipment in Greater China. In terms of E-commerce packaging, Amcor has established a Global SME team, as a member of the team, has lead Amcor China built up strategic and business partnership with JD, Alibaba(Cainiao), MeiTuan, Dingdong, etc., is very experience in E-Commerce packaging standard, E-Commerce packaging development, sustainable packaging, etc.
In the past few years, Amcor has selected some excellent eco system partners through global and Chinese platforms in the field of smart packaging, and jointly provided many valuable smart packaging consulting and solutions to customers in the industry. Amcor has accumulated rich consulting and implementation experience in the field of smart packaging from unique QR code, RFID to AR/MR; from anti-counterfeiting traceability, interactive marketing to anti-counterfeiting, etc.
Duan Yanjian holds a master’s degree in packaging engineering, graduated from Jiangnan University. Now he’s responsible for logistics and packaging technique in JD Logistics. In 2017, he has launched “Green Stream Initiative” with several brands which aims to promote green and sustainable development of the end-to-end supply chain (B2B2C) along with upstream and downstream enterprises.
Besides, he has founded green corrugated packaging alliance and e-commerce packaging standard alliance in order to promote e-commerce packaging standard and industrial certification, also remodel supply chain packaging of e-commerce.
He has been involved in the drafting and revising of dozens of national/industry packaging standards.
